A Gentleman's Chair

OK, so most of my furniture is a bit on the feminine side of things.  I thought I'd give myself a challenge and see if I could create a chair for a man.

Here is where I started.  I thought the shape was fairly masculine.

The condition of the finish and the vinyl seat cover were doing this chair no favors.

There were also a few minor repairs to take care of before I got to work.

I chose a dark blue color that leans toward green.  I then glazed it with a light gray and gave the entire thing a coat of dark wax.

Lincoln helped me choose the fabric for the cushion.  It's a miniature chevron in a gray color.  It is reminiscent of a nice man's suit.

Link says he would sit on it.  :)

This gent is for sale.  $60   (oh, and if a woman wants this guy, we understand. ;)
