It isn't often that one of my pieces feels masculine to me, but this dresser speaks to me like a proud and trail worn cowboy.
Instead of distressing this piece with a sander, I used a paint scraper and scraped away the parts I wanted gone.
This piece came to me with the top and the sides all ready sanded down most of the way. I smoothed them out a bit more and used Minwax's Provincial to stain them.
The knobs are reminiscent of wagon wheels. Perfect!
